Clubs

Baby’O

This exclusive dance club attracts both the locals and tourists who are serious about their dancing . The music ranges from swing to disco to rock 'n' roll. Anything goes as long as the beat is good. Dancers are mostly under 35, and dressing appropriately is acquired. The best types of tequila are available for sipping in between dances. Cover to get in is around $25-$35. It may seem expensive, but it’s all you can drink for the entire night!
Disco Beach

This club has a laid-back vibe that is hard to beat. Disco Beach takes the party right down to the sand. Young club-goers favor this spot for their come-as-you-are door policy as well as the fabulous foam parties every Friday night. Have a drink, get your party on and get ready to experience a crazy time.

Palladium

Palladium has an incredible view from the 160-ft wide windows. They have a spectacular laser light show. There is always a fun loving crowd presence. "The Silver Man," dressed as an Aztec warrior shows up every so often to put on a show. He tosses fired everywhere and is a huge crowd pleaser. The place is very popular with locals and tourists, so be prepared to wait in line. Cover charge depends on what night you go on and it is from $20-$30 and it is all you can drink for the night. Get your party hats on and dance the night away with the locals and your friends.

Bars

Baby Lobster Bar

At this popular bar, people cut loose and dance on the tables for hours at a time. This place is located right on the beach. They open much earlier than other bars so people have time to party before the sun rises. With capacity for 500, and liberally poured tequila and other cocktails, this is a party atmosphere extraordinaire.

Bar Rio

This is a multi-level venue to kick back, enjoy a drink, get together with friends and listen to disco or live Mexican pop music every weekend. The stage is set dead center a nd can be seen from any one of their numerous bars. The crowd is usually young and energetic. This bar is always crowded on Fridays and Saturdays. The cover charge includes all-you-can-drink.

One Dollar Bar

The night gets started early at One Dollar Bar where the drinks, though not a buck, are relatively inexpensive. Lots of seating and an open plan is good for socializing with the crowd of tourists that walk up from the beach. If you feel like dancing, join the fleet feet on the patio. Also, if you love rock and roll music you've come to the right place. Live bands perform on Thursdays-Sundays.

Restaurants

El Mural

You can eat indoors or out on a poolside. The chef prepares international beef and seafood dishes as well as Mexican specialties like cilantro soup and crepes. The daily three-course, fixed-price meal is $16. For breakfast try the home-baked sweet rolls and marmalade from the fruit of nearby trees. Most tourists come to this restaurant to get a taste of a real Mexican dish.

Hard Rock Café

This link in the international Hard Rock chain is one of Acapulco's most popular spots, among locals as well as visitors. The New York-cut steaks, hamburgers, and brownies, as well as the Southern-style fried chicken and ribs are familiar and very much satisfying. Rock music begins at noon, and a live group starts playing at 10 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. This is a fun place to rock out and to have a great bite to eat.

Mezzanotte

At this restaurant you may end up dancing with your waiter on top a table. The stylish interior has a large sunken dining area, original sculptures, and huge bay windows looking out to the sea. Patrons rave about the fettuccine with smoked salmon and the charcoal-grilled sea bass with shrimp and artichokes in a citrus sauce. The food is mid-range in price but it is absolutely to die for!
