Great Bars to go to while you in Jamaica
Rick’s Cafe
Rick's Cafe is an excellent tourist spot that is a 'must do' when in Negril. It is definitely worth the trip. It's geared towards American tourism since all the prices are set in US dollars. The only Jamaicans you'll likely mingle with is the staff. Also, when the sun finally goes down, a live reggae band gets the crowd charged and the conga line moving!
No Limit Bar
This little bar at the west end of Negril is just the place you need if you're seeking to hang out with the locals. No Limit Bar is small, inexpensive and friendly so you can toss back a cold one without sticking to a strict budget. Byron the bartender will take care of all your drinking needs. The decor is fun and the locals are a blast to hang out with. However, as the name of the bar says, there's certainly 'No Limit' on the drinks! Bottoms up!
Bourbon Beach
This place could easily be off-the-hook on a good night. With its bar in the sand, large covered dance floor and thumping dancehall tunes, this place beckons you to come party! Bourbon Beach is a bar, restaurant and disco. Bourbon Beach is the place to be to have drinks at a reasonable price and to party the night away on the beach.
Clubs
The Jungle
The Jungle Night Club and Sports Bar in Negril Jamaica was voted "The Best Night Club in the Caribbean" in 2004. As the most popular dance club in Negril Jamaica their bar and night club features the latest and greatest in Jamaican music along with top quality lighting and a Jungle theme/rainforest decor that are sure to be exciting. The VIP lounge overlooks the hottest dance floor in the Caribbean and the Sports Bar has the latest games and sports events playing on Big Screen T. V.'s. The cover charge to get in is usually only $5. It’s a great place to get your dance on!
Restaurants
Rockhouse
The sunset views and ambiance at this spot can't be beat. It is set up on the cliff’s, overlooking the ocean. The view is simply magical. The food is excellent, and the staff is very professional. They also offer a complimentary service to pick you up from your hotel and transport you to the restaurant personally. It’s a great spot to relax for an hour or two and to grab a delicious meal.
Selina’s
Selina’s is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This restaurant is known for Big Roy’s banana pancakes, and fresh Blue Mountain coffee. It is however, a bit more expensive then other nearby restaurants but many feel it’s worth it. On Sunday’s, they have a huge brunch where it is all you can eat. Also on some days there are live shows featuring the Jamaican Cowboy.
